The Special Children’s
Art Foundation fosters hope, self-esteem and community integration
by providing children with special needs, their families and mainstream
community members the opportunity to engage in socially inclusive
mural art projects. By working together, children with special needs
and mainstream youth gain a better understanding of one another
while contributing to community art that will leave a lasting impression
on the therapeutic and educational facilities chosen as mural sites.
Projects incorporate designs simple enough to be painted by children
of various skill and disability levels and the supervision necessary
to achieve the finished look of professional murals. |

OUR
MISSION
To provide children with special needs the opportunity to express
themselves through art, to promote self-esteem, and integrate them
into society by creating a foundation for inclusion, while facilitating
diverse experiences in the creative arts and positive social change
within the community.

"Thank you so much for making the entire experience a comfort
for me, you have a way with kids especially mine. I told my family
how proud I was that he could participate in such a heart warming
and benefiting event. we were happy to be a part of it! Please let
me know when I can be any more help for your foundation, I realized
when I was painting it was very therapeutic, I did not want to stop!
Take care and please let me know when the next special event will
be, I would be more than happy to donate and volunteer time and
services to the foundation". - Kellie
