The Special Children’s Art Foundation fosters hope, self-esteem and community integration by providing children with special needs, their families and mainstream community members the opportunity to engage in socially inclusive mural art projects. By working together, children with special needs and mainstream youth gain a better understanding of one another while contributing to community art that will leave a lasting impression on the therapeutic and educational facilities chosen as mural sites. Projects incorporate designs simple enough to be painted by children of various skill and disability levels and the supervision necessary to achieve the finished look of professional murals.

OUR MISSION

To provide children with special needs the opportunity to express themselves through art, to promote self-esteem, and integrate them into society by creating a foundation for inclusion, while facilitating diverse experiences in the creative arts and positive social change within the community.
